These are all important questions
you should ask yourself on your journey to selecting a
personal fitness trainer and coach. My recommendation is
to interview at least 3 before making this very
important decision for your health care. My goal for you
as a certified personal trainer, consultant and coach is
to provide a personal program catered to you.
My philosophy for my fitness practice is one
that does NOT support the “one size fits all generic
program.” This is simply not fair to you as a person, a
waste of your time, money, and most importantly does not
take your
“personal” health into consideration. What I
do provide are personalized programs designed from
information provided by you, tests given, and through
our discussions to put together a program that provides
the BEST fit for YOU. Your session is individual as I
cater to the specific goals you want to achieve, and
taking into consideration the genetics you were born
with, and any medical issues. Also, bodies come in all
shapes and sizes and every person is entitled to a
program that addresses each body type and very
important, a program designed that allows you to achieve
the results you are looking for. I am sensitive to
body image issues working in this field for many years,
and I provide a comfortable environment conducive to
getting healthy and staying healthy for everyone.
My job as
your personal trainer includes motivation, training,
accountability, and continued support to keep you moving
in a healthy direction. Through this process, you will
learn, progress, and continue to excel to new levels of
fitness excellence. As I
work with you, I will teach you
correct form, technique, mental focus, and the very
important mind body connection with the muscle groups
being trained. Each training session is a step
closer to
your goal and excitement of this fact is shared
throughout your training program. Each session will
provide the ability for you visualize your goals, and a
workout intensity that is not only challenging, but
enjoyable. I give 100% focus to you during your training
session, and my expectation from you is to have a fun
time with your workout, be willing to learn and know
that I am with you every step of the way through every
challenge. This time is special, your “ME” time, your
time to learn, get a great workout, and adapt a healthy
lifestyle.
My goal for you
as my client is to get you to a place of self knowledge
and confidence that allows you to be comfortable walking
into any gym or fitness facility and, without hesitation
and complete focus, create and complete a program
knowing that you have all the resources you need to have
a fantastic workout while achieving your goals. It is at
this point that I know I have succeeded as your trainer,
as I realize that most people do not plan on having a
trainer for life. There is no better gift to me than to
get a call from a client who has shared that they
completed a workout, understood what they were working,
how to work it, and with enthusiasm…I DID IT!!! Life
for me as your trainer does not get better than thatJ.
My most popular program is the 12 week Fitness
Lifestyle Makeover. Healthy and successful weight loss
is generally at a rate of no more than 2lbs per week,
with muscle gains becoming apparent after 12 weeks. I
also recommend at least 2 sessions per week to start
with under this plan, especially as a newbie exerciser.
My expectation of you during this time would be
that you
follow the nutrition and cardio program designed for
you, in addition to your appointments with me. Once you
and I bond as trainer/client, it becomes team work and a
promise to each other that I will give you 100%, but you
have to give me 100% in return, or at least the best
that you can be at that moment. The most successful
programs are those that are taken seriously and both of
us are willing to give to the program what has been
assigned. Good work will get good grades simply put. I
understand that the desire is there to get healthy
otherwise you would not have contacted me, and all that
is lacking is the skills, resources, and mental
connection to achieve your goals. This is where I step
in to do my job with you and this is also why the
success rate is so high. The motivational level and
accountability I will provide help with the process for
you to stay on track, and after our time together, you
will have adapted a dedication, confidence and
motivation to continue training on your own in any
environment.
My dedication to the bodywork field for over
20 years is not by accident following my passion and
making the best decision of my life to help people
improve the quality of their life as a fitness trainer,
consultant, and coach. I keep my education updated
with continuing classes i n the field that add to my tool
box of techniques that are passed down to you during
your training session. Do not expect the “norm” when
working with me as I implement what is necessary to
reach your goals and love to throw in trainer surprises,
and new workouts to try. You are guaranteed to always
be surprised as you are challenged with different
workouts virtually every time you see me. No boring,
hum drum stuff in the training room. There is nothing
better than the positive endorphins released from an
outstanding workout that you have accomplished. The
“fitness glow” is fabulous!!!!
Life is too short to not start taking care of
yourself. Good health is the wealth of life and it is
never too late to get healthy and stay healthy!!!!
Making this decision to improve the quality of your

I provide an environment for you that allows
you to feel comfortable as a “newbie” or established
exerciser. My belief system is to focus on what you need
and making the most of the time that you have purchased.
As a body worker, I see a BODY as a BODY, and knowing
all bodies come in different wonderful packages, body
image is never an issue. I am here to help you get
healthy and together improve the quality of your life
for the rest of your life.
